This shot reminded me of a drawing I did a while ago... [link] if only I had this picture then to use as photo reference - would have made my life easier when I was imagining the pose! Read the blog - seems strange to have received such hassle in San-Fran - but at least that explains the location and how you got such crisp lighting. Nice work.

Thank you for sharing your work; it's very lovely. I wish that I had this up for you then for the reference but

I wasn't nearly as good with a camera in 2010. Hehe. I will have some more of these photos up of this same 501st member when I can get through my queue (such is life of a photographer).

I thought it was quite strange as well myself. But thank you again, I'm very happy with the lighting myself.

It must be a real joy for you as a photographer to get to play in San Fransicso. I've only been once - and was instantly convinced it's the best place in the world. That perfect natural lighting (when it's not foggy) is just one of the reasons why!

It really is a wonderful location for photography. Even in the fog

! It's actually even more of a even lighting during foggy times that fashion photographers, costume-photographers and portrait photographers really enjoy. And if it's super foggy (which it usually is in the suburbs) you can get some very beautiful landscapes with fog. ^_^
