Ethereal Capture

Ethereal capture; that one single moment in time one cannot perceive through mere mortal sight. Only within the recesses of our fantasies, dreams, reveries can we truly grasp this untouchable realm. Even then; it is lost to us the moment we aspire to make it reality. The slightest of touch, the faintest of breaths, the delicate blink of the eyes spirits it away from us and we are left with nothing more than sea foam and stone.

While dreams seek to become reality, technology seeks to create fantasy. It is through the artist's glass that this breathtaking scene is ensnared. Through long shutter speeds the sea waves are portrayed in an otherworldly atmosphere. Attempting to create a timeless and dream-like quality; the artist chose to photograph these images with a soft overcast in a slight warm tone.
